Data for the characters.
Each character from
Font A
is defined with
48 bytes
.
Each character from
Font
B is defined with
16 bytes
for
subcommand 3
(the 9-th horizontal bit is always white)
and with
32 bytes
for
subcommand 4
(2 bytes for each horizontal row, only the most significant bit
of the second byte is used).
The data for character set
(font) A
is composed from left to right
and from top to bottom with two bytes for each horizontal line.
From the second byte only the first nibble
(the most significant 4 bits) is valid. Each bit defines one dot,
1 is for black, starting from the most significant bit.
Downloaded characters are valid even after switching off the
printer
