Data for the characters.

Each character from

Font A

is defined with

48 bytes

Each character from

Font

B is defined with

16 bytes

for

subcommand 3

(the 9-th horizontal bit is always white)

and with

32 bytes

for

subcommand 4

(2 bytes for each horizontal row, only the most significant bit

of the second byte is used).

The data for character set

(font) A

is composed from left to right

and from top to bottom with two bytes for each horizontal line.

From the second byte only the first nibble

(the most significant 4 bits) is valid. Each bit defines one dot,

1 is for black, starting from the most significant bit.

Downloaded characters are valid even after switching off the

printer

An underline is attached to the full character width, which, however,

is not attached to the part having been skipped by the horizontal

tab.

Neither is it attached to 90°-right-turned characters.

The underline width is as having been specified by

ESC -

The default setting:

1 dot width.
